A hybrid graphene-metal resonator for sensing and switching at Terahertz frequencies is designed at KAUST

Muhammad Amin, a PhD student, and Dr. Mohamed Farhat, a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Computational Electromagnetics Group led by Prof. Hakan Bagci have published a paper titled “A dynamically reconfigurable Fano metamaterial through graphene tuning for switching and sensing applications” in the prestigious journal Nature Scientific Reports .

Communication Theory Lab's, led by Prof. Mohamed-Slim Alouini, postdoctoral research fellow Ki-Hong Park and MS student Tian Wang co-authored a paper entitled "On the jamming power allocation for secure amplify-and-forward relaying via cooperative jamming" has been published in the IEEE Journal of Selected Areas in Communications: Special Issue on Signal Processing for Physical Layer Security, Vol. 31, No. 9, pp. 1741-1750, September 2013.
